# The Problems with web3
### **1: No social media platform dedicated to crypto users**
As a crypto user myself, If I have to keep myself updated about the latest news & updates about my favorite project. I have to check Twitter, Discord / telegram, and Youtube for video content and while I am doing that, i come across multiple scams pretended to be:
-Fake Admin in Discord
-The Famous Whatsapp guy on youtube
-Twitter accounts were boosted with bots, pretending to be the real project account
### **2: Scams & Bots**
Due to these multiple accounts and being overwhelmed by the information, The average is at risk of getting scammed by fake accounts or sometimes by the admins and later claiming to be hacked.
The Monkey Kingdom suffered a considerable setback when hackers succeeded in accessing the project’s Discord chat admin account, stealing approximately $1.3 million from users in the process.
In an announcement posted on December 21, the project explained: “Since \[this] morning, our Discord was flooded with thousands of bots impersonating Monkey Kingdom or Baepes announcements. They DM-ed our users directing them to suspicious websites that require them to connect their wallets…”
Essentially, the hackers went ‘phishing’ – sending out a seemingly legitimate link to users of the Discord chat, just as Monkey Kingdom was launching its new sale. Supporters were duped out of SOL 7,000, the equivalent of nearly $1.3 million.
This is just one example of the many crypto market scams. This put the founders reputation at risk, Loss of valuable resources and overall loss of faith in crypto space.
Federal Trade Commission report states that cryptocurrency scammers have stolen over $1 billion from 46,000 people since the start of 2021.

# How to Mint Meta Invoker NFT?
MetaMask can be downloaded on Chrome and Firefox, or on iOS and Android if you’re a mobile user. For the purposes of this tutorial, we’ll use the Firefox version, but the instructions will be more or less the same for every platform.
Firstly, you’ll want to head over to the MetaMask [Download page](https://metamask.io/download.html). From there, select whichever platform you’re using, and follow the steps to install it on your device. Easy!
Next, follow along with the setup specified by the app. Go ahead and click Create a Wallet. Write down the backup [seed phrase](https://academy.binance.com/en/glossary/seed-phrase) somewhere secret (preferably not on an Internet-connected device). Without this phrase, your funds can’t be recovered if your device is damaged or lost. Confirm that you’ve written them down on the next page.

# How to Add BSC to metamask?
You might notice straight away that we’re still dealing with an [Ethereum](https://academy.binance.com/en/articles/what-is-ethereum) wallet. At best, this won’t work with BNB Smart Chain (BSC) DApps. At worst, **you could lose funds by sending them to addresses you can’t actually use**.
Let’s change that. We want to access the **Settings** to point the wallet towards BNB Smart Chain nodes.

# SET UP A BINANCE SMART CHAIN (BNB) ACCOUNT IN LEDGER LIVE
This article describes **how to create a Ledger Binance Smart Chain (BSC) account** in Ledger Live and explains the difference between BSC and Ethereum.
### How to create a Binance Smart Chain (BSC) account in Ledger Live
1. Open Ledger Live.
2. Connect your Ledger device and **open the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) app** on your Ledger device
3. Navigate to the **Accounts** tab, click the **Add account** button, select **Binance Smart Chain (BNB),** and click **Continue**.
4. Once a BSC account is added, navigate to the **Receive** tab, select your BSC account and click **Continue**. Ledger Live and your Ledger device will display your Binance smart Chain address.
5. **Verify** this address on your device and click **Confirm.** This address can be used to deposit BNB or BEP20 tokens.
### Why does my Binance Smart Chain account address look exactly like my Ethereum account address?
You might have noticed that your Ledger Ethereum address and Ledger BSC address look the same.
This is because the Ledger Ethereum and BSC apps use the same cryptographic techniques to generate addresses. This is possible because, [as a fork of go-ethereum](https://github.com/binance-chain/bsc), BSC shares a lot of “digital DNA” with the Ethereum network.
**A word of caution**
* Though your BSC and Ethereum addresses *look* identical, it’s important to note that **they actually exist on two different networks**.
* As a result, **please avoid sending ETH and ERC20 tokens to your BSC account.** Similarly, **avoid sending BNB and BEP20 tokens to your Ledger Ethereum account**.
### Withdraw crypto to my Ledger Binance Smart Chain account from Binance exchange
1. In your [Binance](https://www.binance.com/en) exchange account, go to the **Withdaw Crypto** section and select the coin you wish to withdraw.
2. In the address field, paste your **Ledger BSC address**, make sure that the **BEP20 (BSC) network** is selected, and complete the **withdrawal**.

**BEP20 or BEP2?**
* There is a difference between the BEP20 and the BEP2 network.
* The BEP2 network refers to Binance Chain, which is a **different** network from Binance *Smart* Chain (BSC). You can learn more about these differences in [this article](https://www.binance.com/en/support/announcement/daca7c991d5f4c45a4d1083f70912515).
* When withdrawing assets from Binance to your Ledger BSC address, **make sure to always select the BEP20 network**.
### Are all BEP20 tokens supported by the Ledger Live app?
While it's possible to withdraw most crypto assets to your Ledger BSC account in the form of BEP20 tokens, **only a subset of all existing BEP20 tokens are currently supported by the Ledger Live app**.
From the perspective of Ledger Live there are three types of BEP20 tokens:
* **Fully supported BEP20 tokens** will show in Ledger Live and display a balance *amount* (the number of tokens in that balance) and a balance *value* (how much the balance is worth) denominated in fiat currency (EUR, USD, RMB, etc).
* **Partially supported BEP20 tokens** will display a balance amount but not a balance value.
* **Non-supported BEP20 tokens** will not show in Ledger Live at all. They will not be reflected in your total portfolio value and will not create a transaction history in Ledger Live.
**I think I have sent unsupported BEP20 tokens to my Ledger BSC address!**
* Don't worry, your tokens are safe.
* You should be able to see your tokens by pasting your Ledger BSC address into [Bscscan](https://bscscan.com/) then searching the drop-down menu located next to the **Token** field.
* To access your non-supported BEP20 balance, however, you’ll need to use your Ledger device with a third-party app called Metamask.

### Access my non-supported BEP-20 token balance
This tutorial will show you how to use Metamask to access your Ledger BSC account and manually add your BEP-20 tokens.
1. Close Ledger Live.
